The
Endowed Chair Campaign kicks off with gathering at Deerwood. On July 28,
about 50 people gathered at Deerwood to support PABI's latest campaign
to raise funds for the Community Center set to begin construction. The
Endowed Chair Campaign will help to furnish the Event Center with quality
seating, excellent sound and lighting and cinema equipment. $2000 purchases
the endowed chair with a brass nameplate with the donor's requested name
engraved upon it. During the event, Judy Lanier-Gallagher presented a
short history of PABI's campaign to date, an appeal to purchase the lots
near the Brother's Place at a reduce price and an update on the architects.
Jon Fogg, chairman of the Endowed Chair Campaign, presented the sample
chairs, information on the campaign and an appeal to purchase chairs,
either paid in full or on a 2-3 year plan. Following the presentations,
eager donors filled out pledge forms and pasted sticky notes with their
names on the campaign poster. 30 chairs were purchased at the event. Only
120 left- so get yours soon! Contact Jon Fogg or any board member for
